As part of the career guidance activities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, first-year students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 Oleksandr PASICHNYK, Anastasiia MARCHUK and Alina PERKHALIUK visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 7.

A first-year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4, Oleksandra BANIT, met with 11th-grade students of Rivne Lyceum "Collegium" in order to familiarize them with the features of studying at a higher education institution of the MIA system.

During the Cyber ​​Security Month, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the EU Code Week 2025 challenge. Based on the results of its participation, the university took first place among higher, postgraduate and extracurricular education institutions in Ukraine and received a Letter of Appreciation for its activity, as well as valuable gifts - sets of keyboards and headphones.

Dmytro PASHNIEV, Head of the Research Laboratory on the Problems of Information Technologies and Combating Crime in Cyberspace of the ERI No. 4, met with graduates of educational institutions in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

On the eve of Student Day, the cadet and student parliament of KhNUIA organized intellectual and patriotic competitions among the teams of the ERI No. 1-5. The event was opened by Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, who welcomed the participants and emphasized that the youth of KhNUIA should think quickly, creatively and be able to work in a team.

The university held regular lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership, dedicated to the participation of students in the implementation of social projects and initiatives. The event was hosted by the Head of the School, Senior Researcher of the RL for Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the MIA Vitalii NAIDA, and cadet Miliena TSVIETKOVA.

The first stage of the International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literature Competition has begun at KhNUIA - a space where young people have the opportunity to rethink the Kobzar's heritage and see it in a modern context. The event was organized by the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies.

Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4, Svitlana Luchyk, together with Vitalii SHENDERUK, Head of the Information Support Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region, conducted a binary lesson for second-year cadets studying in the specialty "Cybersecurity and Information Protection".

For cadets of the tactical and special unit "SHIELD", a field-based practical lesson was held on conducting fire contact by small tactical groups of the police in urban areas. The participants worked out the tactics of actions of small groups, algorithms for fighting in conditions of intense fire contact.

Representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine conducted a training course on training future trainers in working with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and conducting criminal investigations for academic staff and cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No.1, No.2 and No.4.
