Leading researcher of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Yevhenia HLADKOVA and Associate Professors of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Tetiana SHEVCHUK and Ivan KRITSAK took part in the 17th International Scientific and Practical Conference.

The annual scientific event brought together leading Ukrainian and foreign specialists in the fields of law, psychology, sociology, and pedagogy. The conference was organized by the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of the university under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Olena YEVDOKIMOVA.

The Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI No. 5 held another meeting of the scientific circle dedicated to the current topic - the functioning of united territorial communities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The event was timed to coincide with the International Day of Remembrance for Chornobyl Disaster.

Under the leadership of the senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2 Iryna SHUTIAK, a meeting of the scientific circle "SFP" was held, dedicated to the preparation of scientific research for the scientific and practical conference. Cadets of the ERI No. 4 and the ERI No. 2 are working on the topics of their own scientific research.

Lecturers of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidates of Philological Sciences Natalia KOBYLKO and Natalia YELNIKOVA joined the school-seminar "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education", organized by the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute".

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 5, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Svitlana LOZOVA gave an online presentation on the topic: "Buprenorphine in substitution therapy in the treatment of drug addicts and the possibility of using RFID technology to control it."

In accordance with the Regulations on the Scientific Center of Ukrainian Statehood named after Professor V. Kulchytskyi of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, approved by the resolution of the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, a decision was made to establish the Eastern Regional Branch of this Scientific Center on a non-profit basis.

The Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 held another meeting of the scientific circle, the topic of which was the problems of compensation for moral damage and legal regulation of surrogacy relations.

Students studying in the specialty "Psychology" took part remotely in the work of the section "Preservation and restoration of mental well-being of the individual in modern conditions" of the International Scientific and Theoretical Conference of Young Scientists "Culture and Information Society of the 21st Century".

On July 3, 2025 at 10:00, the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Training of Law Enforcement Officers in the System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine under Martial Law” will be held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
