The event was opened by the leaders of the group: Associate Professor, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Olena MAKAROVA and Professor, Doctor of Law Ihor ZOZULIA. They welcomed those present, in particular the new members of the group - first-year students, and emphasized the importance of scientific work in the professional development of future specialists.

During their internship and summer vacation, students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of KhNUIA actively participated in International Scientific and Practical Conferences. In total, they participated in eight scientific forums abroad.

Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr HRECHENKO took part online in the VIII International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Technologies and Strategies for Implementing Scientific Achievements".

The monograph "Theoretical, legal and praxeological foundations of forensic psychiatric examination" has been published, the author of which is Olena MAKAROVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1.

Representatives of KhNUIA - Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Viktor LAZARIEV and Associate Professor of the same department Stanislav IVANOV - joined the work of the round table on the topic "Digitization of documents of the Branch State Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: disclosing the truth about the crimes of the communist totalitarian regime."

At the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, great attention is paid to the comprehensive development of cadets. They actively realize themselves in their studies, scientific activities and service. This approach forms responsible and professional future police officers of pre-trial investigation bodies.

The final of the student research club “StudLab for Justice” was held in the hall of the Supreme Court, which united young lawyers from all over Ukraine to search for innovative solutions in the field of criminal justice. Among the participants, a cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of KhNUIA, Danylo TESLIA, performed with dignity.

A meeting of the Scientific Center of Ukrainian Statehood named after Professor V. Kulchytskyi of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine was held in Kyiv, which was joined online by the Head of the Eastern Regional Department of this Center, head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr HRECHENKO.

Representatives of the ERI No. 5 – Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 Mykola PAKHNIN, Associate Professors of the same department Victoria DAVYDENKO and Anna NAUMOVA, as well as Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise Olena SOLOVIOVA took part in the work of the IX International Forum “Mediation and Law”.

The Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 of KhNUIA, Oleksii SERDIUK, joined the work of Kharkiv Media Forum. One of the main topics of the event was the fight against disinformation and propaganda from the Russian Federation.
