An online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics of the Faculty №6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held, which was attended by the Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics Iryna Panova, the Head of the scientific circle Victoriia Melnyk, lecturers of the department and students.
A regular online meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA-technologies of the Faculty No. 6 was held, dedicated to the issues of student research. The head of the group, Associate Professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA-technologies Volodymyr Tulupov and the group members considered the directions of research for the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Current issues of Modern Science in the Research of Young Scientists, Cadets and Students", which will be held in May at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs online.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, on behalf of the Academic Council, congratulated the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs of 2012-2015, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel-General of Police Serhii Husarov on his 70th birthday.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues of Financial Security" was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The forum was attended by the Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Valerii Sokurenko, First Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Morhunov, Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Muzychuk.
The Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, chaired by Tetiana Fomina, held a regular meeting of the scientific club on the topic "Documentation of War Crimes in the De-occupied Territories". The event was attended by cadets of Faculties No. 1, 2, 4, and the department's academic staff.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the annual All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychological and Pedagogical Problems of Professional Education and Patriotic Education of the Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine", which was attended by more than 150 participants from 23 institutions and higher education institutions of Ukraine, representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission, partners in scientific and educational issues from the United Kingdom and Poland.
A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Faculty No. 1 was held. It was held in a combined form - applicants for higher education of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 gathered in the auditorium at the University in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Representatives of the Faculties 2 and 3 joined the meeting online.
Volodymyr Lisovol, Yelyzaveta Kuzenkina, Alina Kotelevets and Oksana Salova, cadets of the Faculty No. 4, took part in the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Cadet (Student) Conference in Foreign Languages "Law Enforcement Agencies for the Protection of Law and Order and Constitutional Freedoms in Peace and Martial Law", organized and held by Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
According to the analysis of data on domestic violence since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, there have been fewer recorded cases of domestic violence compared to previous years.
Kharkiv Press Club hosted a presentation of the results of the next wave of the Youth and Drugs study and the Ukrainian Longitudinal Study conducted during the war. Experts commented on the results of the research, told how the war affects the mental health of children and youth, what threats exist, whether the level of alcohol and drug use has changed during the war, and how the situation with the mental health of Ukrainians will develop in the future.
