At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, on behalf of the Academic Council and the staff of the university, congratulated the founder and first rector of the university, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka on his birthday.

This year marks 37 years since the largest nuclear power accident in history. The disaster claimed the lives of many people and caused irreparable damage to the environment. In December 2016, the UN General Assembly proclaimed April 26 as the International Day of Remembrance of Chornobyl Disaster. Since then, this day has been used every year to commemorate all the people who died or suffered from this disaster, as well as to honor the liquidators of the accident. A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Science was dedicated to these catastrophic events.

Oleh Honcharuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, held a meeting of the scientific club for second-year students of the Faculty № 4 on the topic "English in everyday life. Differences between British, American and Australian variants of English".

A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1 was held, which was attended by applicants for higher education of Faculties No. 1-4, including online.
