Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, took part in the international online webinar "Minimizing Language Loss: Turning Summer Break into Learning Opportunity" from MM Publications in Ukraine and the Linguist company.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs pays great attention to the scientific work of cadets and students, strongly supports their scientific initiatives and is proud of their achievements. The department has a scientific club, which consists of 30 cadets and students (the head of the club is senior lecturer Tetiana Kalchenko).

The Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk held a working meeting with graduates of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of KhNUIA, where he told the students about the peculiarities of admission in 2024 to the Lyceums of Security and National Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

During the formation of the personnel of the Faculty No. 4, the Deputy Dean, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Oleksandr Shlomin congratulated and presented the cadets with awards, gratitude and certificates for participation in scientific and practical conferences, sports competitions, trainings, etc.

The city of Kamianets-Podilskyi hosted the Combat Self-Defense ICO martial arts tournament, in which Artem Oliinyk, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part. According to the results of the competition, Artem won a semi-professional fight according to the rules of MMA in the weight category up to 77.1 kg.

On the weekend, the head of the veteran organization of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Serhii Katsalap together with the employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a vacation for children near the lake. The children participated in competitions and outdoor games, listened to music, danced, and enjoyed delicious Cossack porridge, fruit, cookies and cotton candy.

The Ukrainian Championship in Universal Combat (adults, juniors, middle-aged and older boys and girls), "light" and "classic" sections were held in Khmelnytskyi. The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition and won silver medals.

Binary classes on psychological training for students of the "Educational Security Service" units were held with the participation of the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Patrol Police Department, Police Captain Hanna Strembytska and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 Oksana Liaska.

Vita Fylypska, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, joined the Ukraine Global Faculty project and attended an online lecture "The U.S. Approach to Conquering Academic Writing".

As part of the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Friendly Support" and the social project "Give a Piece of Warmth" of the Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, representatives of KhNUIA organized a patriotic program for socially vulnerable categories of the population for the second time.
