The judo championship of Vinnytsia region among young people under 21 took place. The competition was attended by cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Based on the results of their performances, they won prizes:

- First place - 2nd year cadet of the Faculty № 2 Ivan Semikhat in the 98 kg weight category;

- First place - 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 2 Fariz Rashydov in the weight category of 81 kg.

On March 4, one of the founders of Ukrainian pop music, an outstanding composer and poet would have celebrated his 75th birthday. Volodymyr Ivasiuk was a personality who became a legend in his short life. He is the author of 107 songs, 53 instrumental pieces, and music for several plays. He is a Hero of Ukraine and winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize (1994, posthumously).
