And the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had to respond to these exceptional challenges at the same time as their main work. During the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the head Arsen Avakov stated that in 2020, thanks to the consolidated efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service and the Main Service Center in mobile application “DiYa”, digital images of Ukrainian passport in the form of ID-card, foreign biometric passport, driver’s license and vehicle registration certificate were introduced.

“Patrol competitions” quest for future police officers is a test of strength, physical preparation, moral self-possession, and teamwork ability. Tasks, performed by cadets, are as similar as possible to real situations, the police officers can deal with during their service.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of current cooperation between the Ministry of internal affairs of Ukraine and the US government. Special attention was paid to the successful implementation of the project "Community Police Officer". The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stressed that this project will have a new level of providing high-quality police services and a security system.
