A lesson on countering cybercrime was held for 2nd year students by Yulia MYTROFANOVA, a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5. Taras MOCHERNIUK, the operational officer of the countering cybercrime department in Chernivtsi region of the Cyber ​​Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, joined the event remotely.

May 22 marks the 185th anniversary of the birth of Marko Lukych Kropyvnytskyi (1840-1910), a prominent Ukrainian playwright, actor, director, and theater figure. He was one of the founders of the Ukrainian professional theater, which went down in history as the "theater of luminaries."

With deep sadness, we inform you that while performing a combat mission near the city of Bakhmut, Nikita Oleksandrovych Shapariev died heroically. He was a student of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, a soldier of military unit 3017. Nikita was born on January 21, 2003. Since his youth, he dreamed of devoting himself to the defense of Ukraine. Within the walls of the university, he combined studies with military service, demonstrating courage, determination and sincere love for the Motherland.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Yulia INSHEKOVA and Associate Professor of the Department Ivan KRITSAK remotely held a career guidance conversation with future graduates of Zastavniv secondary education institution of the 1st-3rd levels of Zastavniv city council of Chernivtsi region.

A master class on painting cartridge cases, conducted by artist Tetiana LUTSIUK, was attended by the active members of the Cadet and Student Parliament of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The young people got acquainted with the technique of applying paint to a metal base, the rules for combining colors.

During the practice, 4th-year students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, who are studying in the educational and professional program "Finance, Banking and Insurance", got acquainted with the organization and activities of the practice base, the work of its structural divisions, and financial reporting documents.

The active members of the Cadet and Student Parliament of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the educational training within the framework of the project “Heroes Among Us”. The meeting was attended by volunteers from the All-Ukrainian public organization “Union of Participants, Veterans, Disabled Persons of the ATO and Combat Operations” (UPVDATO).

Viacheslav MEDENETS, a 2nd-year cadet of the ERI No. 2, together with university students, successfully completed a training course at the spring school on the investigation of crimes related to human trafficking, which is part of the international project of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine.
