Exactly two years ago, on March 11, 2022, a sad and tragic event shook the staff of our university. As a result of a direct hit of a shell in the house, the Assistant to the Rector, chairman of the university trade union organization, candidate of sociological sciences, police colonel Valerii Moskovets died. He was at home in Dergachi with his granddaughter Anastasia.

Volunteer help for shelter animals

At the initiative of the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA and the curator, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Valentyna Yatsenko, a charity event was held to help animals that were evacuated from different cities of Ukraine where military operations are taking place. The shelter "House of Mercy Khotyn" is home to 257 dogs, including those from Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
