
Under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Nataliia Kobylko, students Viacheslav Severyn and Vladyslav Simonenko took the online course ‘Speaking.Motives’, and Daria Romanovska took part in the online workshop ‘Academic Writing and Integrity’.

Denys Denyshchuk, a researcher at the Research Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1, visited the municipal institution ‘Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 6 of Kharkiv City Council’. He told the young athletes about obtaining a bachelor's and master's degree at the Educational and Research Institute No. 1.

Anna Sushkova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5, completed the first module of the offline educational programme ‘Promoting Mental Health and Psychosocial Support through Dialogue Facilitation’ in Kyiv. The event is implemented by the educational centre ‘Me and My School’.

Maksym Kolienchenko, a 2nd year cadet of the ERI №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, told high school students of Korop secondary school named after Taras Shevchenko about his experience of studying at the university and shared useful information on admission. Future graduates asked questions about the educational process, service conditions and social guarantees.

Volodymyr Shapoval, Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, completed a three-month scientific and pedagogical internship at the Higher School of Information Systems Management (ISMA) in Riga, specialising in Philosophy (180 hours).

Oleksandr Pabat, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 3, held a career guidance meeting at Kherson General Secondary Education Institution and acquainted future graduates with the conditions of admission to the university, the specialties in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA, told about the work of preparatory courses, and living conditions in dormitories.

As part of the cooperation between Vinnytsia branch of the Legal Clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Self-Government Bodies, a regular consultation meeting was held for local councils and residents of territorial communities of Vinnytsia region on environmental safety.

During an online meeting with academic staff and higher education students, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremen called 2024 ‘the year of offensive Ukrainisation’ and outlined the tasks of the language ombudsman, focusing on the regulatory framework governing the use of the state language.

Addressing the final-year cadets of the ERI №1-4 and Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Valerii Sokurenko emphasised the conscientious and responsible attitude to the duties of a police officer, perseverance in mastering the practical skills of the future profession, and adherence to discipline and the rule of law.
