Lecturers of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines took part in a roundtable discussion held in connection with the introduction of new international financial reporting standards and changes in tax legislation. The participants discussed innovations in accounting and auditing.

During the holiday vacation, cadet Roman Kononenko visited the supporting institution ‘Kalaidynets Lyceum’ of the Lubny City Council of the Lubny district of Poltava region, cadet Ivan Hannoshyn - Lyceum №12 named after S. Kovalchuk in Zhytomyr, cadet Yurii Korolkov - Berdychiv boarding school of sports profile.

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organised a Christmas and New Year's party for the children of university employees. A real fairy-tale miracle awaited them, during which interesting competitions and a disco were organised. The children and their parents will remember the laughter, joy, a lot of positive emotions and a good New Year's mood for a long time.

Serhii Hirenko, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the ERI No. 2, told the graduates of Zaporizhzhia Regional Boarding Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training about the areas of educational activity and educational and research institutes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, fourth-year students of the ERI No. 4 presented Christmas tree decorations to their university, which they painted themselves. They made the decorations together with the academic staff of the ERI No. 2 and the Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, Professor Iryna Sevidova.

The permanent and variable staff of the ERI No. 3, together with students of lyceums in Vinnytsia region, organised humanitarian aid for the units of the National Police of Ukraine ‘Predator’, ‘Tsunami’ and the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ‘173rd Battalion of the 120th Brigade’. Warm clothes and food were sent to our military.

Dmytro Pashniev, Head of the Research Laboratory for Information Technologies and Combating Crime in Cyberspace at the ERI #4, held a career guidance meeting with high school graduates from Kharkiv region and their parents.

With the participation of the head of the internship, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI №3 Natalia Hridina, the head of the course Hryhorii Lysiak and the leading specialist of the practical training department of the Department of Educational Process Organisation Maryna Zvirianska, the 2nd year master's students who are doing an internship at the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region were checked.

The members of the Scientific Society and the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an open online lecture by Tetiana Nizhynska, a consultant at the Centre for Information Support of Education and Research of the Library of Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Under the chairmanship of the Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Yaroslav Lantinov, a scientific event dedicated to criminological topics was held. The participants of the meeting heard reports by student Victoria Kuzema and Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Yurii Kaniberg.
