Ten years ago, Russia started an armed aggression against Ukraine. Russian troops occupied Crimea. On February 26, residents of the peninsula came out with Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags to the walls of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic and declared the integrity of Ukraine to the world.

 According to the results of performances in the All-Ukrainian tournament in memory of Master of Sports V. M. Sabirov among boys and girls of the older age born in 2006-2008 (IV rank) in sambo wrestling, the first-year students of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA won gold and silver: Valentyna Kondratiuk - I place in the weight category of 72 kg, Daria Bespalova - II place in the weight category of 80 kg.

Kateryna Krut, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics of the Faculty № 6, has completed training on the platform of the European Human Rights Training Program for Legal Professionals (HELP).

An open hand-to-hand fighting championship of Khmelnytskyi region was held in Khmelnytskyi in honor of the memory of athletes who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russian armed aggression. Artem Stakhovskyi, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the competition.

Olena Dzhafarova, Head of the Department of Police Activities and Public Administration, Serhii Shatrava, Head of the Research Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation, and Danylo Zinchenko, a Master's student of the Faculty No. 3, completed the Council of Europe HELP online training course on combating human trafficking.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA - associate professors Oleh Honcharuk and Valentyna Kochyna, senior lecturers Tetiana Kalchenko and Larysa Sazanova, cadets of the Faculty № 4 took part in the Interuniversity correspondence scientific and methodological seminar "Modern challenges of higher education in Ukraine - main trends, problematic issues, ways of implementation".

Artem Oliinyk, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in Khmelnytskyi Regional Mixed Martial Arts Championship. The fighters with a huge range of techniques, tricks and styles met in the octagon - boxing with karate, jiu-jitsu with capoeira, and kickboxing.

Ukraine's resistance to the full-scale Russian invasion continues. The students of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs contributed to the victory by donating blood, weaving camouflage suits and nets, making trench candles and sending them to the soldiers at the front.

The cadets of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the curator of the study group, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Svitlana Kharchenko attended the concert "Songs of Invincibility" by Podil Chamber Choir "Leontovych Chapel".

Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and higher education students took part in a workshop by Mykhailo Patsan, a Ukrainian investor, entrepreneur, expert on international financial markets and cryptocurrencies, financial advisor, and founder of the Web3 University of Professions of the Future.
