The next meeting of the circle of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA was held in the format of a round table on the topic "Sexual and Gender-Based Violence as a War Crime: Counteraction and Provision of Comprehensive Assistance to Victims."

The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector Viktor VASYLENKO, who noted that cadet and student self-government is an important component of the public life of the university, which helps in creating conditions for the self-realization of young people, the formation of leadership qualities, national-patriotic consciousness and life competencies in them.

Blood is life, and this truth is well understood by cadets who are actively involved in donating blood and its components. They contribute to an important cause - they help those who need it most. Such initiatives prove: patriotism is not only words, but also concrete actions. Each of us can contribute to the common cause of victory.

On this topic, students and scientific and pedagogical staff of Sumy branch of KhNUIA listened to a lecture by the Head of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, Candidate of Law Vira MYKHAILENKO, during an online event organized by the CCU.

To celebrate the birthday of the talented American singer of Ukrainian origin Kvitka Tsisyk (April 4) and in order to improve the level of national and patriotic education of students of KhNUIA, Professor of the Department of Language Training Oleh HONCHARUK, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Inna HOLOPYCH, held an interdepartmental language and literary event.

Lecturer of the Department of Special Police Disciplines and Basic Military Training of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Oleksii NAZAROV conducted a lesson for first-year students on the topic "The Concept of Administrative Supervision.

As part of strengthening educational ties, a working meeting was held between representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Director of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 4 of Kharkiv City Council. The participants discussed prospects for cooperation aimed at career guidance for students and increasing the level of legal awareness.

Investigator of the Special Investigation Unit No. 1 of the city of Borshchiv of Chortkiv District Police Department of the Main Police Department of Ternopil Region Vasyl PANASIUK, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Victoria FYLYPSKA and Senior Lecturer of the same department Larysa SAZANOVA, conducted a lesson on the discipline "Foreign Language of Professional Orientation" for 1st year cadets of the ERI No. 1.

Dmytro SLYNKO, Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of KhNUIA, delivered a report dedicated to highlighting the procedural aspects of Magdeburg law in the lands of Ukraine.

On this topic, a binary lesson in the discipline "Sociology" was held for students of the ERI No. 2 by Natalia BOBRO, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, together with Vadym KLYMYNCHUK, senior operational officer of the criminal police sector No. 2 of Zhytomyr DPD of the Main Police Department in Zhytomyr region.
