
The watching of the documentary films of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Shooted by Russia" is taking place as part of the events dedicated to the Day of Honoring the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine. The films tell about the police, border guards, National Guardsmen and rescuers of the State Emergency Service who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state.

On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, the curators of the Department of social and humanitarian work held an information and educational hour for students of the ERI No. 1-4 and Sumy branch of KhNUIA on the topic: "We remember the heroes who gave their most valuable for the freedom of Ukraine."

During the event, representatives of the Parliament talked with cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4, who are undergoing a camp training. They spoke about the areas of their activities, the possibilities of participating in cadet-student self-government and implementing their own initiatives at the university.

During the camp gathering, activities are underway to provide psychological support for the adaptation of the 2025 entrants. Psychologists from the Psychological Support Department of the Personnel Department of KhNUIA conduct training sessions for cadets of the ERI No. 2 and the ERI No. 3.

Senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 of KhNUIA Serhii KUCHYNSKYI and Volodymyr YEVTUSHOK, together with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted a practical lesson on identification of explosive objects for the cadets of the training camp.

On the eve of the Day of Honoring the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on August 29, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs began screening the documentary films of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Shooted by Russia."

Emil PRYSIAZHNIUK, a student of the ERI No. 1 of KhNUIA, became a participant in the All-Ukrainian competitions in radio communication on short waves of high-speed telegraphy, which were held in the city of Rivne. These competitions annually gather the strongest athletes and require high concentration, technical knowledge and endurance from the participants.

For the cadets of the camp gathering, the curators of the ERI No. 1-4 of KhNUIA held an information meeting dedicated to the organization of social and humanitarian work at the university. The purpose of the event was to familiarize freshmen with the main areas of activity that form the moral and ethical values of future law enforcement officers.

The meeting with the first-year students of the ERI No. 1 was held by the curator, Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise Svitlana KNYZHENKO. During the conversation, the issues of adapting the first-year students to the conditions of study and the formation of the necessary skills for successful mastering the profession were discussed.
