On the eve of the International Day of the United Nations, which is celebrated annually on 24 October, curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held thematic information and educational talks for higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4.
Hanna Dovhopolova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, completed the online course ‘Academic Integrity: An Online Course for Teachers’ from the American Councils for International Education. The participants got acquainted with the theoretical foundations and effective tools of academic integrity.
Roman Stetsyk, a second-year student of the ERI №4, held career guidance meetings with the final year students of lyceums № 1, 2, 6, 10 in the city of Kalush. He told the future graduates why he decided to become a police officer and chose Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for his studies.

Associate Professors of the Department of Humanities Tetiana Ponomarenko and Nataliia Zlenko, together with 1st year students majoring in Law Enforcement, attended an online lecture by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Nazip Khamitov on ‘Science and Culture in the Age of Social Networks’.
Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Department for the Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), and Daniil Zinchenko, Associate Professor of the same department, successfully completed the HELP online course on International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and received the relevant certificates.
Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Social Systems Management named after Academician I. A. Ziaziun of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Andrii Cherkashyn took part in the scientific meeting remotely.
