The meeting was attended by Anton Chubenko, Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration, and Viktoriia Hrytsaienko, wife of Vitalii Hrytsaienko, a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, after whom the lyceum is named. Vitalii Hrytsayenko was killed in the battles for Azovstal and was posthumously awarded the Gold Star and the title of Hero of Ukraine for his courage and bravery.

To acquire practical skills in the M.A.R.S.N. algorithm, second-year students of the ERI No. 1 learnt to apply tourniquets and a compression bandage, as well as tamponade wounds.
