Dmytro Sorochan, Deputy Head of the Temporary Detention Centre No. 1 of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, Doctor of Philosophy, and Nataliia Prokopenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, conducted a binary class for students of the ERI No. 5.
Oleksandr Bahola, a resident of the village of Lisnyche, Bershad district, Vinnytsia region, starts a practical driving course at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Driving School for Persons with Disabilities. Despite the distance, Oleksandr decided to take the course in Khmelnytskyi region at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Anton Chubenko, Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration, and Viktoriia Hrytsaienko, wife of Vitalii Hrytsaienko, a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, after whom the lyceum is named. Vitalii Hrytsayenko was killed in the battles for Azovstal and was posthumously awarded the Gold Star and the title of Hero of Ukraine for his courage and bravery.
Vita Filipska, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department, together with Diana Shpak, Investigator of the Investigation Department of Sumy District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Sumy Region, conducted a binary lesson on ‘Classification of Evidence’ for 4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1.
To acquire practical skills in the M.A.R.S.N. algorithm, second-year students of the ERI No. 1 learnt to apply tourniquets and a compression bandage, as well as tamponade wounds. The binary lesson was conducted by Vitalii Paraniuk, a community police officer, and Volodymyr Yevtushok and Serhii Kuchynskyi, senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training at the ERI No. 2.
As part of the dissemination of positive experience in non-formal (informal) education, higher education students together with the leadership of the ERI №1 took the course ‘Studying International Humanitarian Law’ on the educational online platform ‘Prometheus’.
Together with the volunteers of the NGO ‘Women's Hundred’, the students of the ERI No. 5 devote their free time to helping Ukrainian soldiers. The girls understand that the need for camouflage nets in the Armed Forces of Ukraine remains great, so they consider it their duty to actively help those who defend their homeland from the enemy.
The students of the ERI No. 2 Miliena Tsvietkova, Maksym Kucheriavyi and Tymur Perepelytsia took part in the III session of the Student Council of Vinnytsia region, which was held with the participation of the head of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation Mykola Kobys.
