The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs take an active part in sporting events organized by local governments in Podillia. On the Independence Day of Ukraine, the creative team of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4 joined the opening of a football match between the Epicenter and Khust football clubs.8

33 years ago, Ukraine was reborn on the world map, and today Ukraine wins the hearts of the world. It inspires courage. It serves as an example of how not to be afraid of Putin. And it unites the world around its Ukrainian worldview: in the twenty-first century, terrorists should be buried in The Hague, not Valdai.

In his Telegram channel, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko congratulated Ukrainians on the Independence Day of Ukraine and thanked everyone who brings the Victory closer.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a sports and patriotic holiday dedicated to the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine at all locations. The event was attended by freshmen of the university's educational and research institutes No. 1-4 and Sumy branch, who are currently undergoing camp training.

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Student Council of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 held a national patriotic event. Oksana Brusakova, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and emphasized that this is a holiday for each of us, a holiday of our freedom, dignity and unity.

On the occasion of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, the students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs watched a festive concert "Ukraine, bloom in love and kindness" prepared by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work with the participation of amateur cadets.

On August 23, every year since 2004, Ukraine has honored one of its three key state symbols, the blue and yellow flag. It is also a national symbol. A symbol of our Ukrainian identity. A symbol of the struggle for freedom. The blue and yellow combination was established as the Ukrainian national colors during the European "Spring of Nations" in the 19th century.

Today, August 23, on the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, the largest flag of the city and region was raised on the Castle Hill in Vinnytsia. Representatives of the university's ceremonial team took part in the festivities.

On the occasion of the National Flag Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the ceremony of raising the Ukrainian flag. The Head of State noted that the blue and yellow flag unites many generations who fought for Ukraine, liberated Ukrainian land from invaders and dreamed of independence.

August 23 is a special day for each of us. It is impossible not to be proud of Kharkiv: it is invincible, it is a Hero, it is the Pride of Ukraine! Kharkiv is at the forefront of the fight for the territorial integrity of our country.
