Today, for the first time, we celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine, established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine. But our history has evolved in such a way that for more than a thousand years we have had to fight for our unity, identity and independence, because these processes and concepts are interconnected and interdependent.

On February 24, 2022, “United Ukraine” Debate Tournament will take place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The tournament will be held in the format of parliamentary debates. The cadet and student community of the University is invited to participate in this event.

Head of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Valentyna Vasylenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Lesia Honcharenko conducted an information hour on the topic "We are Ukrainians" for 2nd year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Police Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Alina Piddubna, gave an open lecture on the subject "Criminal Procedure" for second-year cadets of study groups 201 and 202 of the Faculty № 2 on “Criminal Procedure of Ukraine and the Sphere of its Action”.
Every year on February 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Honoring the participants of combat operations on the territory of other states. Prior to that date, commemorative events were held in Kremenchuk, which were attended by representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
In the Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs lessons of memory "This Eternal Pain of Afghanistan" for the first-year cadets of the Faculty № 3 and the second-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 were conducted.
