Representatives of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held charity events “Give a child joy” and “Collect things for the little ones” and congratulated the pupils of Sumy Regional Specialized Orphanage on St. Mykolai Day.

Boys and girls will not only be able to get acquainted with the university, but also watch a wonderful concert prepared by cadets and students of our university.
Final meeting of scientific circle in 2021 was held at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 1, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, during which the most active cadets were awarded with diploma.
Cadets of the Faculty № 2 KhNUIA along with curator – Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines Victoriia Honcharova visited city ice rink.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Europe, has developed a set of training and lecturing materials for National Police officers.
For 3rd and 4th year cadets of the Faculty № 4, who study in specialty “Cyber Security” a meeting with employees of practical units of the National Police, who deal in solving cybercrime was conducted by Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty № 4 Police Major Yurii Onyschenko.
Within cooperation of legal clinics of Sumy with Sumy local center for free secondary legal aid, an organizational meeting was held, which was attended by representatives of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the Faculty № 6 Professor Mykhailo Scherbakovskyi and Professor of the same department Valentyna Korzh took part in the III Annual International and Practical Conference “Current issues of Forensic Expertise, Criminalistics and Criminal Procedure”, which was held remotely in Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
An Olympiad “Young Lawyer” was conducted online by the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In order to participate in Olympiad 248 applications were submitted. 82 participants passed the first stage of the Olympiad. According to the calculations of the results of the answers, 11 participants passed the second stage, 9 of which successfully coped with the creative task (essay writing).
A participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, a 3rd year cadet of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Andrii Topchii took part in the International online-conference in English on the topic: “Fall of the empire: price of the Soviet occupation” which was dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Belovezh Agreement and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
