A binary lesson on the topic "Legal Regulation of the Functioning of Languages in Ukraine" for cadets of the ERI No. 1 was conducted by Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Nataliia YELNIKOVA, together with Kateryna RODINA, Head of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of the Community Interaction Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region.
The online event was opened by the Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department of KhNUIA Nataliia SADOVA. She emphasized the importance of International Students' Day for Ukraine and recalled the history of its origin, which is associated with the tragic events of November 17, 1939 in the Czech Republic, when the Nazis arrested students and shot the leaders of the student movement. It was in their honor that this International Day was founded in 1941.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 Yuliia INSHEKOVA held an online meeting with future graduates of Kruhlytskyi Educational Complex "Comprehensive Educational Institution of I-III degrees" of Dniester district, Chernivtsi region.
Second-year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Mariia OLIINYK and Stanislav REPCHONOK held a career orientation meeting with graduates of Polonne Lyceum No. 4 of Khmelnytskyi region.
The “Hello, 102?” team of KhNUIA, which included cadets Danylo TESLIA, Roman MAKIIEVSKYI, Maksym MAKSYMCHUK and Timur KYRYIA, won first place, having passed the selection among 29 teams from different universities of Ukraine in the III All-Ukrainian Hans Gross All-Ukrainian Competition of Investigative Actions.
During the Cyber Security Month, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the EU Code Week 2025 challenge. Based on the results of its participation, the university took first place among higher, postgraduate and extracurricular education institutions in Ukraine and received a Letter of Appreciation for its activity, as well as valuable gifts - sets of keyboards and headphones.
A table tennis tournament among cadets of first-third courses was held at Educational and Research Institute No. 1, which was held with the aim of popularizing sports among young people and developing the physical and moral-willing qualities of future officers of the National Police.
On the eve of Student Day, the cadet and student parliament of KhNUIA organized intellectual and patriotic competitions among the teams of the ERI No. 1-5. The event was opened by Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, who welcomed the participants and emphasized that the youth of KhNUIA should think quickly, creatively and be able to work in a team.
Cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 completed the online course "European Mechanism for the Protection of Human Rights", aimed at deepening knowledge of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights and the functioning of key institutions of the Council of Europe.
The university held regular lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership, dedicated to the participation of students in the implementation of social projects and initiatives. The event was hosted by the Head of the School, Senior Researcher of the RL for Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the MIA Vitalii NAIDA, and cadet Miliena TSVIETKOVA.
