Iryna Lutsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ER №1, held a career guidance meeting with graduates of Yurii Fedkovych Vyzhnytsia Support Lyceum of Vyzhnytsia City Council and Lidia Stoliar, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs.
Oksana Bortnyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law, and Kyrylo Cherevko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, held a class on the peculiarities of the Commercial Code of Ukraine for the cadets of one of the groups of the ERI No. 1.
Every year in Ukraine, from 25 November to 10 December, the All-Ukrainian campaign ‘16 Days Against Violence’ is held. The dates of its beginning and end are not chosen by chance, they create a symbolic chain, combining measures against violence and actions to protect human rights, emphasising that any manifestation of violence against a person is a violation of his or her rights.
During the online meeting dedicated to the World Action ‘16 Days Against Violence’, the curator, associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 Ksenia Yurtaieva together with the cadets reviewed international and national regulatory documents governing the issues of combating domestic violence.
The students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of KhNUIA together with the inspectors of the domestic violence sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region distributed leaflets to passers-by with advice on how to stop violence in the family and in society and where to go to get rid of its manifestations.
Curator, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Nataliia Shyshka together with the students of the ERI No. 1 discussed the main aspects of the problem of violence, its types, causes and consequences online. She noted that the action aims to raise awareness of all forms of violence, to continue the process of creating a non-discriminatory space for life, etc.
This was the topic of a roundtable discussion, which was joined by Oleksii Salmanov, Deputy Director for Education and Research Activity at the ERI No. 1. The event was organised by the Red Cross Society of Ukraine in Kamianets-Podilskyi with the participation of representatives of local authorities, the medical community, higher education institutions and the community.
Research and pedagogical workers of the Department of Criminal Process and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation Iryna Nechaieva, Kateryna Horbunova, Olena Martovytska, Hennadii Hlobenko, Alina Piddubna and Inna Strok held curatorship hours with cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise Olena Makarova and investigator of the investigative department of the Uman DPD of the Main Department of National Police of Cherkasy region Bohdana Chupyra conducted a lesson for cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the discipline "Methodology of investigation of criminal offenses in the field of drug trafficking, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors."
During an online meeting with high school students of Dovzhotskyi Lyceum of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council of Khmelnytskyi Region, senior lecturer of the department Kateryna Penzieva spoke about the educational and scientific institutes and specialties in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA, about the conditions of study, life and leisure of cadets and students of the university.
