On the initiative of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation, cadets of the ERI No. 1 and ERI No. 4 took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues of Human Rights Protection: Current Status, Problematic Issues and Ways to Solve Them."
2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 1 Lidiia Ohiienko, Yevhenii Kotlevskyi and Yehor Hurov met with students of grades 10-11 of Krasnokutsk Lyceum No. 1 of Krasnokutsk settlement council of Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region. They told them about the conditions for admission to the police academy, about the educational and scientific institutes and specialties in which specialists are trained.
Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 Kateryna Penzieva, together with a 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 3 Yevhen Ratoshniuk, visited Vinnytsia Humanitarian Lyceum No. 1 named after M. I. Pirohov, where, with the assistance of the Deputy Head for educational work of the lyceum, Olha Koval, they held a career guidance meeting with graduates.
The fighters told the graduating cadets about the history of the brigade's creation, its structure and tasks - the fight against Russian occupiers, participation in assault operations, the liberation of settlements from the enemy. They especially paid attention to the features of the selection of candidates for the unit, the provision of police officers, and the technical armament of the brigade.
Representatives of the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 held a meeting with graduates of "Kharkiv Specialized School of II-III Degrees No. 3 of Kharkiv City Council of Kharkiv Region". The Head of the Department, Oleksii Zaitsev, together with teachers, familiarized students with the possibilities of entering the university.
On this topic, the Head of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs, Olena Stativka, held a roundtable meeting in English for master's students studying in the specialty "Law" (police).
Conducting scientific research is one of the priority areas of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In times of war, the university's research activities are aimed at studying issues related to countering armed aggression, cyberattacks, etc.
Before the examination session, the management of the ERI No. 1 held an information and awareness-raising conversation with the graduate students on the prevention and combating of corruption in higher education institutions. Students were recommended to take an online course on how to report corruption and become whistleblowers.
In all the cities where Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is located, students take part in the information campaign on child road safety in winter, which is conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with UNICEF and the National Police on the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.
On the initiative of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA, an awarding ceremony was held for students and cadets who became winners of competitions. The awards were presented by: Deputy Director of the ERI No. 5 Myroslava Ivasyk, Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Volodymyr Hrechenko, Associate Professor Nataliia Kobylko and Senior Lecturer Nataliia Yelnikova.
