Curators of study groups of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conduct thematic events aimed at raising awareness of students on preventing and combating various forms of violence.

Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Tetiana FOMINA took part in the online advanced training course "Science ✕ AI: a New Paradigm", organized by NGO "Progressive".

Professors of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI No. 1, together with Deputy Heads of courses of the ERI No. 1 and No. 4 and cadets, visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum with enhanced military-physical training of Khmelnytskyi region.

Olena PIKHURETS, Professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Commercial Law, together with Olena ADAMCHUK, Іpecialist in personnel administration of the Charitable Foundation "Helping to Leave", held a binary lesson on the topic "Personal Non-Property Rights of an Individual" for cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1.

As part of action"16 Days of Combating Violence", Yevhen Zozulia, Lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, held a meeting with cadets, during which he emphasized the importance of the topic of combating violence for future police officers.

Iryna LUTSENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No.1, held a career orientation meeting with future graduates of Chernivtsi Lyceum No.20. She introduced high school students to the university, its Educational and Research Institutes and specialties for which specialists are trained at KhNUIA.

At the initiative of the Department of Education and Science of cadet and student Parliament of KhNUIA, an event was held for cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic "Innovations in Education: How to Turn New Technologies into Effective Tools in Education".

In Novoukrainka in Kirovohrad region hosted the Muei-Tai Thai Boxing Championship of Ukraine among athletes from children's and youth sports schools and clubs. Valentyn KRAMARENKO, cadet of the third-year of the ERI No.1, took part in the competition. He won the gold medal in the 81 kg weight category.

At the Educational and Research Institute No.1, the main attention is paid to the comprehensive development of cadets, in particular, strengthening their scientific activity, forming sports endurance and maintaining academic integrity.

On the eve of St. Nicholas Day «Holiday Support Workshop» of KhNUIA visited the subordinate children's institutions of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi – and brought with it a New Year's miracle.
