Students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 together with Associate Professor of the Department Svitlana Lozova visited the Kharkiv Scientific and Research Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the Educational and Research Institute No.5 Olena Soloviova took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Mediation & Universities 2.0», which took place in Lviv.

It is with deep sadness we inform you that Artem Stepanets (23 years old), a graduate of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, died defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

With the assistance of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, as well as the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, an online meeting with future applicants of Kharkiv region was held.

Representatives of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training within the framework of the student self-government development workshop "aGAIN 3.0". This is not the first time that the project has been implemented at the university with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and with the financial assistance of the Government of Denmark.

On the eve of the winter holidays, students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 once again joined the volunteer action in support of the Ukrainian military. They made trench candles with their own hands and created holiday cards with words of gratitude.

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, a traditional meeting of the management with students for whom support and attention are particular importance was held at the Educational and Research Institute No. 5.

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 held an organizational online meeting with third-year higher education students aimed at ensuring their successful completion of educational practice.

The regular session of the scientific circle "Actual Problems of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology" of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the ERI No. 5 chaired by Associate Professor of the Department Svitlana LOZOVA was dedicated to the issues of expert research of narcotic drugs.

For students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, a binary lesson was held on the topic "Involvement of Minors in Illegal Activities in the Context of War Crimes".
