Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an online meeting of the consortium of the international project "Sustainability and internationalization capacity for the modernization of higher education for newcomers from the Eastern Partnership countries" (SIN-NEC).
Inna Savina, a specialist of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA, listened to a discussion dedicated to the 75th anniversary of NATO and the 70th anniversary of the Atlantic Treaty Association.
The XXV International Student Scientific and Practical Conference in foreign languages was held on the topic "International experience in protecting the national interests of the country by security and defense units under martial law". On behalf of the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk greeted the participants of the scientific meeting and wished them fruitful work.
Within the framework of cooperation between KhNUIA and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland), Anastasiia Yemelianenko, a cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, became a participant of the Spring School "Selected Issues in Science for Humanities". Classes with lectures and workshops are conducted by well-known professors who are involved in the implementation of projects related to the interaction of man and society.
With the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine conducted a training on human rights, international standards of police activity, the mandate and activities of the ICRC in Ukraine, the use of force in the paradigm of law enforcement, the search for missing persons and the protection of civilians during armed conflict at one of the locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the academic staff and applicants for higher education of KhNUIA.
A year ago, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan signed a Declaration of Cooperation. During the visit of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko to the Polish university in December 2023, an agreement was reached on the participation of higher education students, adjuncts, doctoral students, research and teaching staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in exchange programs and study visits to the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
Representatives of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA - Tetiana Matiushkova, Nadiia Serhiienko, Alona Muzychuk, Natalia Sadova, Inna Savina and Svitlana Vechirko - attended the 4th international webinar in English from the series of events held by the International Center for the Study, Prevention and Treatment of Inherited Trauma of Generations in cooperation with the Sunflowers Project on the topic "Reparative Justice IV: Problems of involvement, interviewing and support of child victims/witnesses of war and terror".
Dmytro Slynko, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of Private and Public Law", which was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the corresponding member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the International Personnel Academy, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Protsevskyi.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the annual All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychological and Pedagogical Problems of Professional Education and Patriotic Education of the Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine", which was attended by more than 160 participants from institutions and higher education institutions of Ukraine, partners from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the United Arab Emirates.
Artem Bilousov, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4, attended the international online webinar "How creativity and critical thinking can upgrade writing assignments" from LLC and the Linguist company, where the role of critical thinking in students' ability to create texts of various styles, the role of creativity in written tasks and its influence on the quality of writing.
