Olena Stativka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, associate professors of the same department Oleh Honcharuk, Valentyna Kochyna, Valentyna Pochuieva, senior lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova took part in the three-day international online conference "ELTOC" organized by the University of Oxford.

Participation in the international seminar

Oleksandr Manzhai, Head of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the Faculty № 4, took part in the OSCE seminar and delivered an online report "Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in Police Activities". The presentation highlighted the issue of combating human trafficking, which is carried out using technology with a special emphasis on artificial intelligence.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Assistant to the Rector on Gender Issues Oksana Tsukan and Vice-Rector Mykhailo Burdin - took part in the third conference "Security of the Future: Data Privacy, Artificial Intelligence and the Evolution of Intelligence".

European territorial cooperation within the framework of Interreg Europe / URBACT programs in Ukraine

Svitlana Vechirko, Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, took part in the presentation of the EU Interreg Europe / URBACT Programs, which was held with the assistance of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration. The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Institute of International Policy in cooperation with the Department for Coordination of International Technical Assistance of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and with the support of the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation.

Training on the use of open source information (OSINT) in war crimes investigations

The Head of International Crimes Investigation Unit at EUAM Ukraine Michal Vyvoda (Czech Republic) and EUAM Legal Adviser Oleksandr Ishchenko conducted two one-day trainings for cadets and representatives of the academic staff of the Faculty No. 4.

Representatives of KhNUIA took part in a three-day training session. The event was organized by the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine in cooperation with Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs for representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

International cooperation and opportunities for legal clinics

Ella Tverdokhlib, coordinator of the legal clinic department of KhNUIA at the Faculty № 6, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, took part in the online event of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine (ALCU) dedicated to international cooperation of ALCU and opportunities for legal clinics.

Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, at the invitation of the Rector of the National Defense Academy of Latvia, Colonel Maris Utinans, gave lectures for representatives of the law enforcement system - investigators, judges, prosecutors, experts of Latvia.
