
During February-June of this year, academic staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a series of lectures given by foreign partner scientists. The series of five lectures was organized by the TransJus Research Institute of the University of Barcelona.

Representatives of scientific institutions and higher education institutions joined the information forum dedicated to the information days and brokerage events of the Horizon Europe program in the direction of "Civil Security for Society", held by the European Commission in the first half of 2025.

Within the framework of implementing the provisions of the concluded Memorandum of Understanding, a working meeting of the leadership of KhNUIA was held with representatives of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Program (PFRU) - Senior Advisor to the Project "Order and Security of the Population" Astrit ISTREFI and Advisor to the same project Anton KHARKIVETS.

The National Program Officer of the UNODC Program Office in Ukraine, Serhii RUDYI, conducted the second day of the training session for cadets. During the event, a wide range of issues were considered, including a comprehensive package of measures for the prevention of HIV, hepatitis and tuberculosis among people who inject drugs.

The IV conference was held in Rome (Italy) on this topic within the framework of the international research project Horizon 2020 “Interaction of Intelligence and Security Networks with Industry and Science Entities” (NOTIONES). Representatives of KhNUIA, which is a participant in this international project, joined its work.

This was the title of a webinar organized by the Institut de Recerca TransJus of the University of Barcelona. The event, which was held with the assistance of the International Cooperation Department, was attended by academics and students of KhNUIA.

Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, within the framework of the program of the European Union Advisory Mission on Reforming the Civil Security Sector of Ukraine, as part of a delegation, made a study visit to the city of The Hague (Kingdom of the Netherlands).

The Head of the International Cooperation Department, Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA, and leading specialists of the same department, Alona MUZYCHUK and Natalia SADOVA, joined the work of the "Round Table 2.0. CEPOL's Activities and Opportunities for the Civil Security Sector of Ukraine".
