From Interrogation to investigative interviewing - a change of mindset

More than 50 representatives of the academic staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at different locations - in Vinnytsia, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kharkiv, Sumy branch, cadets of Faculties №№ 2-4, students, joined the online course in English "From Interrogation to investigative interviewing - a change of mindset".

Online meeting between representatives of KhNUIA and EUAM

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine discussed ways to expand cooperation based on the academic interests and professional experience of the participants, in particular, they identified joint activities such as online participation of EUAM representatives in lectures and other training sessions on international humanitarian law, conducting trainings for higher education students and academic staff on international humanitarian law, etc.

EU4PAR project team donates new publications to the scientific library of KhNUIA

With the assistance of Volodymyr Kroitor, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the team of the EU project "Continuation of Support to Comprehensive Public Administration Reform (EU4PAR)" handed over 15 copies of the Scientific and Practical Commentary to the Law of Ukraine "On Administrative Procedure" to the scientific library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

EUAM representatives conducted training for academic staff and students of higher education. The training was conducted by Mark Roorda, Senior Adviser on International Criminal Investigation of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, and Michal Vyvoda, Senior Adviser on OSINT of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine.

Participation of KhNUIA cadets in the Winter School on Investigation of Crimes Related to Human Trafficking

Within the framework of the joint project of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine, 3rd year cadets Dasha Horpynenko, Serhii Melkumov (Faculty 1), Vladyslav Kostromskyi (Faculty 2) and Olena Tsipkailo (Faculty 4) took part in the Winter School on Investigating of Crimes Related to Human Trafficking for three days.

New specialized classroom on radiological safety opened

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to work on the implementation of the international technical assistance project "Improving Protection and Response to Radiation Sources in Ukraine". Within the framework of this project, a specialized training room "Radiation Safety" was equipped in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region, in cooperation with the US Department of Energy.

Increasing knowledge in the field of combating human trafficking

Olena Dzhafarova, Head of the Department of Police Activities and Public Administration, Serhii Shatrava, Head of the Research Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation, and Danylo Zinchenko, a Master's student of the Faculty No. 3, completed the Council of Europe HELP online training course on combating human trafficking.
