Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross handed over equipment for a specialized classroom on international humanitarian law

A specialized classroom on international humanitarian law was opened at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The equipment and donation certificates totaling more than UAH 70 million were handed over to the rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

Participation in a workshop on civil defense issues

Oleksandra Kodak, a 2nd year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, who is one of the leaders of the All-Ukrainian Public Children's Movement "School of Safety", attended the practical and theoretical seminar "@disaster". The event took place in Osnabrück (Lower Saxony, Germany), initiated by the German organization THW-Jugend.

Participation in the international forum of forensic experts and criminalists

Representatives of the Faculties No. 6 and No. 1 took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Topical Issues of Forensic Expertise and Criminalistics", which was held on the basis of the National Scientific Center "Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute: 95th anniversary of Lev Arotsker and 105th anniversary of Mykhailo Saltevskyi.

Participation in an online course on life safety

Svitlana Petrovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took an online course "Life Safety Training Course" developed by the NGO Association of Deminers of Ukraine with the financial support of the US Department of State and the US Embassy in Ukraine and received a certificate based on the results of successful testing.

Participation in the CEPOL training "Excise Fraud - Investigation"

Kyrylo Cherevko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, took part in a practical training on the investigation of excise duty fraud, which was held at the Guarda Nacional Republicana and the European Union Agency for the Training of Law Enforcement Officers (CEPOL) in Lisbon (Portugal).
