Artem Makarov is a second-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a police officer from Vinnytsia region. This story of rescue is horrifying because it is based on the intention to kill - a mother was drowning her son in a pond. It was at this time that Artem Makarov heard the screams and immediately rushed to the rescue.
The commentary is devoted to the study of the scientific and theoretical foundations of the crime under Article 111 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Aiding the aggressor state”, various aspects of its practical application under the legal regime of martial law, and the distinction of this crime from related ones.
The course was attended by higher education applicants and academic staff of the ERI №4. Obtaining certificates was not only a confirmation of knowledge, but also an obligation to adhere to ethical principles in teaching and learning to obtain quality education, writing research, etc.
“International Criminal Court. Ratification of the Rome Statute of the ICC” was the topic of the lecture, which was attended by representatives of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights: Professors Yurii Kolomiiets, Andrii Voitsikhovskyi and Dmytro Slynko, Associate Professors Oleksandr Radchenko and Daria Heta, as well as Senior Lecturer Nataliia Filipska.
A binary lesson on the discipline “Criminalistics” was held with the 3rd year students of the ERI No. 2 with the participation of Natalia Todorovska, a senior criminalist of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, and Oleksandr Yukhno, a professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI No. 1.
The class on “Bodies and Institutions of the European Union” was conducted by Andrii Yulin, a community police officer of the Community Police Sector of the Community Relations Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, a professor at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights.
For applicants for higher education of KhNUIA, curators for educational work of the ERI №№ 1-4, specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Valentyna Lavrusenko, Maria Artiukhova, Andrii Prokhorov and Nataliia Kuznetsova held conversations about information security and the role of social networks in the modern world.
Oksana Brusakova, Director of the ERI No. 5, Serhii Zahorodnii and Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Directors, and Volodymyr Kroitor, Head of the Department and Guarantor of the Educational and Professional Program, met with the applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty “Law”.
Under this title, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Achievements Of Contemporary Society” was held in London (UK), in which cadets of the ERI №4 Roman Stetsyk, Ivan Tsurkan, Vadym Tovstyk and Kyrylo Chukalov took part online and presented their scientific works.
The University Library received another book novelty within the framework of the Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation signed between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Yurinkom Inter Publishing House. The collection was replenished with a new scientific publication: “Human Rights under Martial Law. Legislation. Judicial practice”.
