Dear colleagues, a terrible tragedy has occurred in our university team. A little three-year-old boy, the grandson of the lecturer of the Department of Operational-Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI No. 2 Vadym KUZEMA, is fighting a serious oncological disease (stage IV). His childhood, which should have been full of joy, has turned into a daily challenge for life. Every day is a test, every minute is hope.

The popularization of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska, was joined by 2nd-year cadets of the ERI No. 3, who are studying in the educational program 053 "Psychology" at the bachelor's level.

The Red Cross Society organized a specialized training for coaches and physical education teachers under the program “Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in a Sports Environment” (Sport Coach+), which was attended by Ihor OSTROVSKYI, a senior lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2.

Leading researcher of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Yevhenia HLADKOVA, together with a team of volunteers from the "Palms of Peace" Charity Fund, donated workwear for employees of the Regional Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children "Hippocrates"."

The Chairman of the Board of the Public Organization "Center for Communication and Content Security" Valerii KOROL presented the university library with modern fiction and popular science literature by famous Ukrainian and foreign authors.

A binary lesson on the topic "Solving premeditated murders and other crimes against the person" for cadets of the 1st-2nd years of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1, 2 and 4, who are mastering the educational and professional program K9 "Law enforcement activities", was conducted by Yurii KUZMENKO, First Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police.

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, together with the primary trade union organization of KhNUIA, organized an extremely rich educational excursion to the National Natural Park "Podilski Tovtry" for higher education students who are most in need of parental support and care.

The 3rd year students of the ERI No. 4, together with their curator - senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training Larysa SAZANOVA - visited the university's general library. They got acquainted with the virtual content about the life and work of the outstanding playwright, director, actor and composer Marko Kropyvnytskyi.

Oksana LIASKA, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the ERI No. 3, conducted a series of psychological trainings for parents of children whose mental health was affected by the war. The event was held within the framework of the project "Social rehabilitation of children who have suffered from the psychotraumatic consequences of the war by creating an integration space for contact classes with animals."

Internship practice is one of the main components of the curriculum and is conducted with the aim of gaining experience in the professional activities of a psychologist, mastering a professional position, and forming and consolidating skills in conducting psychological research.
