From the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have been joining the ranks of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine - the National Guard, the Armed Forces, and the assault brigades of the Offensive Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They are serving in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.

Oleksandr Radchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4, took part in a regular lecture by judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the topic "Review of decisions on newly discovered circumstances in criminal proceedings in the context of the Decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of April 10, 2024".

Ivan Kharchenko, a lawyer of the Bar Council of Zaporizhzhia Region, and Oksana Bortnik, an associate professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, conducted a binary lesson with cadets of the Faculty № 1 on the discipline "Civil Procedure". They discussed the peculiarities of the professional activity of a lawyer, the rules of legal ethics, etc.
