Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory for Combating Crime of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Oleksii Serdyuk took part in the 21st colloquium on cross-border crime "Cross-border Crime: how global can it be?". The event was hosted by the Police College of Kongsvinger University (Norway) this year. Due to restrictions connected to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event took place in an online format.

Kyrylo Tyshchenko, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty №1 of KhNUIA, took part in the National Student Forum: Education, Leadership, Responsibility, which took place at the University of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in Irpin, Kyiv region. The purpose of the Forum is to form a community of proactive and responsible leaders of student government, to create a unique environment for fruitful cooperation of students with representatives of universities, government and business.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary Independence of Ukraine, participants of the Center for Social Projects of the School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a charity event - donated blood plasma at the plasma procurement and processing center.

First-year cadets came to Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs from different parts of Sumy region and Ukraine. For anyone who has chosen the police profession, the training begins with a camp meeting, which will last almost three weeks.

The ambitious goal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remains to increase the level of security throughout the country - from regional, district centers, to JTC and the
smallest villages and settlements. This was stated by Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi during a meeting with government officials and representatives of local self-government.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the grand opening of the camp gathering of freshmen. The camp gathering was opened by Valerii Sokurenko, the Rector of the university, General of Police of the third rank.

For every freshman who chooses the police profession, training begins with a camp meeting. The future cadets will have classes in military, physical, tactical, fire, general law training, patriotic as well as cultural and educational events.

30 students majoring in "criminal police" and qualifying as "criminal investigator" began training in the initial professional courses for police officers at the Institute
of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk, and the Director of
the Institute of Postgraduate Education Dmytro Kosinov, met with the students - representatives of Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Dnipro and Vinnytsia regions.

Dear cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs! A new academic year will soon begin, filled with lectures, seminars and practical classes. However, we should not forget that today a viral infection COVID-19 has become a serious threat to all of us, the spread of which is facilitated by large crowds of people, various mass events. To protect ourselves, our friends and relatives from the dangerous disease and its consequences, doctors recommend vaccinations. The university management adheres to all quarantine requirements and recommendations of the Ministry of Health. Anyone arriving for study or camp training is encouraged to have a COVID-19 test certificate if possible.
