The Rector, vice-rectors, employees and cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs laid flowers to the monument to the dead law enforcement officers. Today in Ukraine, along with other heroes, honor the memory of employees of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who died in the line of duty, in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and during international peacekeeping and security operations.
Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko, vice-rectors, employees and cadets together with representatives of state authorities
and local governments, MPs, law enforcement officers and the public honored the memory of Ukrainian defenders who died in the struggle for independence,
sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, taking part in a rally that took place near the monument on the Square of Defenders of Ukraine and laid flowers.
On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the university staff, employees and cadets laid flowers at the memorial plaque of Dmytro Pruglo, installed in the museum of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Dmytro Pruglo studied at the Faculty № 1 and graduated in 2012.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a ceremony on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The event was attended by senior management and staff of the university, freshmen.
On August 28, during a camp gathering for cadets of the Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a meeting was held with a participant in the
anti-terrorist operation Serhii Kozniienko.
On August 28, Ukraine hosted a patriotic race in athletics in memory of the fallen soldiers "I honor the soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine". This year the event
started in Sumy.
On the eve of the new academic year, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took place. Issues related to the
results of enrollment in higher education in 2021, the readiness of the University for the beginning of the new academic year, the work of academic councils of the
University, organizational and personnel issues were considered.
Today, August 28, Ukraine celebrates Aviation Day - a professional holiday for military and civil aviators, workers in the aviation industry and transport of Ukraine. The staff of the University greets employees, cadets, students of Kremenchuk Flight College, wishes good health, peace, harmony, prosperity and conquest of new heights.
On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the
library presents a book and illustrative exposition "Eternal Memory and Glory to the Defenders of Ukraine" to the university community.
On September 18, 2021, the "Night of Science in Kharkiv 2021" will be held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Deputy Head of Educational and Methodological Department, Police Major Serhii Marchyshyn and Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization and Intellectual Property Protection – Head of the Department of Scientific Work Organization Liudmila Katsalap took part in the organizational meeting of the Kharkiv City Council on the event "Night of Science in Kharkiv 2021".
