Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Yuliia Zahumenna took part in the panel discussion of the VIII Kharkiv International Legal Forum. The participants discussed important issues related to the scope of Ukraine's obligations to the EU in the context of the negotiation process.
The abstracts of the report “Features of the child trafficking mechanism” for the International Scientific Conference “Social Communications in the Context of Society Globalization: Challenges and Prospects” were prepared by Oleksii Salmanov, Deputy Director of the ERI No. 1, and Violeta Shomakhova, a student of the ERI No. 1.
The event was attended by the head of the department Iryna Panova, the head of the scientific club Daria Hlushkova and students of the ERI #5 who expressed interest in in-depth study of scientific issues and participation in scientific research.
The report was made by Serhii Shatrava, Head of the Research Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1. He focused the attention of scientists on the activities of the National Police in conditions that complicate the operational situation, as well as stabilization measures to restore the de-occupied territories of territorial communities.
Under this title, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Achievements Of Contemporary Society” was held in London (UK), in which cadets of the ERI №4 Roman Stetsyk, Ivan Tsurkan, Vadym Tovstyk and Kyrylo Chukalov took part online and presented their scientific works.
At the first meeting of the new academic year, the head of the club, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Lozova outlined organizational issues, acquainted the new members with the rules and regulations of the club.
The annual conference “Artificial Intelligence in Police Training” was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Tbilisi. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by Tetiana Matiushkova, Head of the International Cooperation Department (offline) and Oleksandr Manzhai, Head of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction (online).
The first meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law “Actual Problems of Theory and History of State and Law” in the academic year was held with the participation of the department's academic staff and higher education students.
Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Lab for Social and Psychological Support, Accompaniment, and Rehabilitation at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KhNUIA), participated in a crucial stakeholder consultation organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The event focused on veteran reintegration as a key element in developing effective strategies to combat organized crime in Ukraine.
The first meeting of the group was joined by new applicants for higher education who expressed a desire to plunge into the world of criminal law and criminology. The head of the student group, Associate Professor of the Department Yaroslav Lantinov outlined the organizational issues of the scientific association, familiarized the new members with the rules and regulations of its activities.
