The event, which is held annually at the initiative of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies of the ERI No. 5, was opened by the university Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk. Head of the department Iryna Panova, Professor of the department Olena Syniavska and Head of the scientific circle "Problems of Modern Policing" Daria Hlushkova, together with the circle members, discussed the topic "State policy and the role of the public in preventing corruption. Anti-corruption measures in the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their impact on the European integration process in the conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine."
Cadet of the ERI No. 4, head of the scientific circle of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines Daria Salnichenko made a report on the topic "Information rights of citizens of Ukraine and the activities of the media under martial law" at the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Human Rights: Methodological, Epistemological and Ontological Aspects".
Representatives of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5 Yulia Kyrychenko, Victoria Fursa and Darya Korobtsova, together with members of the scientific circle of the department, took part in the work of the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Law and Economy of Ukraine".
Daria Kushnir, a lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines, took part in the International Lawyers' Conference, which brought together legal professionals to discuss current issues of legal practice in Ukraine and the world. The event became a powerful platform for constructive dialogue and exchange of experience between scientists, lawyers, etc.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertology of the ERI No. 5, Associate Professor Olena Soloviova took part in the work of the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Theoretical and Practical Problems of the Implementation of Legal Norms". The speakers highlighted problematic issues of environmental, criminal, and criminal procedural law.
During the regular meeting, the Head of the circle, a lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Doctor of Philosophy Oleksandra Kolobylina conducted a training on preparing abstracts for participation in scientific conferences, writing competitive scientific papers, and compiling lists of used sources.
Research and teaching staff of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the international scientific and practical online webinar "How to Avoid Becoming a Victim of Fraudulent Publications in Scopus: Save Time and Money!", held by the company "Academy of Articles".
Conducting scientific research is one of the priority areas of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In times of war, the university's research activities are aimed at studying issues related to countering armed aggression, cyberattacks, etc.
The roundtable, held on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was attended by the director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Correspondence Studies of KhNUIA, candidate of legal sciences Ihor Nazarenko. His speech was devoted to issues related to the observance of international humanitarian law in relation to military personnel.
