
On the occasion of commemorating the victims of Nazism and the 80th anniversary of the tragedy of Babyn Yar, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Affairs conducted bus tours to Drobytskyi Yar memorial complex for cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Employees of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty №1 – Professor Yurii Orlov, Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Olishevskyi and Lecturer Nataliia Tsvirkun took part in a scientific seminar on “Current issues of criminal policy of the European Union”.

For students of the Faculty №6 a binary lesson on the topic “Conflict of interests. Legal Responsibility for Committing Corruption and Corruption-Related Offenses” was conducted by Mykola Holub, Associate Professor of the Department of Law-Enforcement Activity and Policeistics, Faculty №6, and Olha Piskunova, Anti-Corruption Commissioner of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The representatives of the Debate Club of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the debate tournament for beginners “Inception”. The event was held on the basis of Yaroslav Mudyi National Law University.

Deputy Chairman of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, the Head of Kharkiv Press Club Oleksandr Shvets took part in the IV National Media Talk Conference. He told how the interaction of Kharkiv journalists and the police helped to make popular the telegram-bot “StopNarcotics”, developed by cadets and teachers of the Faculty №4 (cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Iryna Sievidova, a professor at the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty №6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Olha Sievidova, a lecturer at the same department, conducted a career guidance meeting with the graduates of Chuhuiv Vocational Lyceum.

The first meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty №1 took place.

The fund of the university library received a modern textbook “Administrative and jurisdictional activities of the National Police of Ukraine” edited by the Head of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration KhNUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Olha Bezpalova.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Shulgin, Zoia Bilan and Nataliia Rastorhuieva visited Kharkiv Secondary School of I-III grades №60 as part of their career guidance work, where they talked to the 11th grade students.

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty №1 of educational-methodical work, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Vladyslav Neviadovskyi presented his monograph to the scientific library of the university: Neviadovskyi V.O.
