Olena Syniavska, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI №5, and Daria Hlushkova, Associate Professor of the same department, together with students Iryna Lototska, Veronika Zholtikova, and Daria Muratova, who are studying for a bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, have successfully completed the course “Anti-discrimination”.

Polina Yemelianova, the chief secretary of KhNUIA cadet and student self-government, took part in the first introductory meeting of Vinnytsia Youth Council this year. New delegates were introduced to the structure of the council, its main activities and tasks for the current year.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting of cadets with a combatant and war veteran Bohdan Darmohrai. In 2023, Senior Police Lieutenant Bohdan Darmohrai participated in the liberation of Klishchiivka, Bakhmut district, as part of the joint assault brigade of the NPU “Liut”.

Kyrylo Cherevko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the ERI №1, conducted an inspection and counseling of the 4th year cadets of the ERI №1, who are undergoing an internship at the Police Department №2 of Kharkiv District Police Department №2 of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region.

Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI № 5, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Expert Activity: Problems, Strategies and Innovations”.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Nataliia Yelnikova took the course “Comprehended and Re-comprehended” initiated by the Literary Laboratory and the Department of Educational Programs of Mystetskyi Arsenal on the Prometheus platform.

Olena Mokhorieva, Head of Introductory Practice, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology at the ERI № 5, organized an online meeting for psychology students with Veronika Pshenychna, Head of the Psychological Support Department of the Eastern Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Ilia Pavlov, a student of the ERI №5, who is studying Law, has successfully completed the online course “Combating Human Trafficking in Ukraine. The Impact of War” on the Prometheus learning platform. As part of the course, participants familiarized themselves with the terminology and regulations, updated their knowledge of victim identification.

The cadets of the ERI No. 1 Bohdana Tkachenko and Serhii Bortnyk held an informational and educational meeting with high school students of Olshanskyi Lyceum in Chernihiv region, who will soon choose their future profession. The event was aimed at familiarizing young people with the peculiarities of entering Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

An important component of the professional training of future police officers is the formation of their readiness to use special means and measures of physical influence necessary to perform professional duties in real conditions. A lesson on “Throws and defensive actions in the ground” was held for the cadets of the ERI № 2.
