Roman Stetsyk, a second-year student of the ERI №4, held career guidance meetings with the final year students of lyceums № 1, 2, 6, 10 in the city of Kalush. He told the future graduates why he decided to become a police officer and chose Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for his studies.

Vadym Maltsev, curator of the study group of the ERI No. 4, lecturer of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction, introduced the cadets to the concept of academic integrity at KhNUIA - a set of ethical principles and rules that should guide participants in the educational process during training and research.

The topic of the round table was ‘Corruption risks in the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ways to prevent and combat corruption’. Associate Professors of the Department of Humanities Tetiana Ponomarenko and Nataliia Zlenko, together with 1st year students majoring in Law Enforcement, attended an online lecture by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Nazip Khamitov on ‘Science and Culture in the Age of Social Networks’.

Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Department for the Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), and Daniil Zinchenko, Associate Professor of the same department, successfully completed the HELP online course on International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and received the relevant certificates.

Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Social Systems Management named after Academician I. A. Ziaziun of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Andrii Cherkashyn took part in the scientific meeting remotely.

For the cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, a lesson on the discipline ‘Criminal Procedure’ was conducted by Yaroslav Tsvihun, Head of the Interdistrict Department of Forensic Medical Examination, and Alina Kosovska, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1.

Higher education applicants of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities Nataliia Zlenko took part online in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Forum ‘Legal Challenges under Martial Law’. The event was supported by the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine and other state and public organisations.

During an excursion to Sumy City Gallery, students together with the curator of the group Olena Lukianykhina and the leading specialist of the HR Department of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Hanna Mititel visited the exhibition of local artist Larysa Apollonova.
