On this topic, a binary class on the discipline "Criminal Law" was held for the students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, conducted by the prosecutor of the Department for the Protection of Children's Interests who are victims in criminal proceedings, the Department of Supervision of Compliance with Laws in Criminal Proceedings of the Department of Protection of Children's Interests and Combating Domestic Violence of the Office of the Prosecutor General Olesia Medynska.
From November 30 to December 4, 2024, Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of KhNUIA will hold an Olympiad in remote mode among students of 10-11 grades of general secondary education institutions of the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, as well as students of the I and II courses of professional pre-university and professional (professionally - technical) education.
For students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA majoring in "Law", a binary class in the discipline "Foreign language" on the topic "Criminal law in the conditions of martial law" was conducted by the regional representative of UNBA NextGen, lawyer Olha Yakymenko, and lecturers of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines Yuliia Samoilova and Hanna Dovhopolova.
Lesia Marchuk, a cadet of the ERI No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a career orientation meeting with high school students of Hirkiv Lyceum of Kamin-Kashir district of Volyn region. She talked to the lyceum students, told them about the specialty she had chosen and her future profession, about studying at a police academy.
For 3rd year psychology students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, online classes on the discipline "Social Psychology" were conducted by the assistant professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, Olena Shakhova, and the senior teacher of the same department, Ihor Shelkoshveiev. Natalia Syvoplias, trainer of educational programs of Kharkiv Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama, was invited to its holding.
In the session of the round table on the problems of philosophy, dedicated to the Day of Philosophy, the professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Volodymyr Shapoval gave a speech on the topic "Modern Civilization Process: Achievements and Problems".
The curator of the group, assistant professor of the department of criminal law and criminology of the ERI No. 1 of KhNUIA, Ksenia Yurtaieva, during a meeting with the cadets, spoke about the occupation of Ukraine from June 22, 1941 to October 28, 1944, war crimes committed by the Nazi occupiers against the civilian population.
"Protection of the right to respect for private life in social networks: the practice of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)" was discussed by the members of the scientific group together with the head of the law enforcement department of the ERI No. 5 KhNUIA Iryna Panova and the head of the scientific group, associate professor of the department Daria Hlushkova.
Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Olha Moroz and lawyer Oleksii Zhyrnyi held a class for students of the 4th year of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA on the academic discipline "Compilation of procedural documents in civil cases". The lawyer told the students about the requirements for the content of the statement of claim.
Yevheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with a team of volunteers from the Palms of Peace Charitable Foundation, delivered food and hygiene kits to residents of the Saltovsky district of Kharkiv as part of the 50+ project, as well as assistance to elderly women.
