
In early September, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs team, which included cadets of the ERI No. 2 Milena TSVIETKOVA, Polina DIAKOVA, Yevhen NOVIKOV, Svitlana SHAPOVALOVA, ERI No. 1 Diana KOROTKA and ERI No. 4 Ivan ANDRIIENKO, won a grant to implement the “Financial Patrol” project.

For 2nd year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA majoring in "Law Enforcement Activities", a curator's hour on the topic "Day of Defenders of Ukraine: Honoring Heroes" was held by Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities Tetiana PONOMARENKO.

Representatives of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 held the first organizational meeting in the 2025/2026 academic year. Associate Professor of the Department Tetiana SHEVCHUK outlined the goal, objectives and main forms of activity of the circle.

Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Svitlana VYHANIAILO, together with an invited expert - the head of Sumy Regional Office of PJSC "IC "PZU Ukraine"" Nadia IVANYTSKA, held a binary lesson on the academic discipline "Insurance".

The student active of the ERI No. 5 joined the meeting of the youth of the city of Kharkiv with the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. These are people who, before the start of the full-scale invasion, lived a peaceful life, worked in various fields, but at the most difficult moment joined the ranks of the defenders.

A webinar was held on this topic, in which the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Olena LUKIANYKHINA, Liudmyla PARFENTII and Oleksandr NESVIETOV participated.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Forensic Science and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 continues to deepen the practical training of future law enforcement officers. As part of the study of the discipline "Forensic Science", a practical lesson was held at a specialized training location that recreated the atmosphere of a torture chamber.

The Student Council of the ERI No. 5 held a patriotic quiz game “Ukraine is my home”, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Participants answered questions on the history, culture, traditions and modernity of our state. The game took place in a friendly, but at the same time competitive atmosphere.

2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 3 deepened their knowledge of the educational component "Ensuring human rights in the activities of the criminal police" during a lesson conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities Anastasia BAIBAK and Head of the Department Olena DZHAFAROVA.

Mykola NYZHNII, a student of the barrier-free driving school, who uses a wheelchair due to an accident, is completing the theoretical course of study. Studying at a driving school is an important stage on the way to realizing a dream and a symbol of personal victory over circumstances.
