An online meeting with students dedicated to the Day of Vyshyvanka, which is celebrated this year on May 16, was held by Natalia Khodieieva, curator and associate professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6. Students watched a movie that reveals interesting facts about embroidery.
The English language quest was organized and conducted for the cadets of the Faculties № 2 and № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs by Natalia Horbach, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, together with the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, Police Captain Olena Sashurina.
On the eve of Vyshyvanka Day, Olena Overchuk, curator of group 104 of the Faculty No. 2, senior lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian Studies, held a conversation with the cadets on the topic "Vyshyvanka is our genetic code." She noted that traditionally, in mid-May, Ukrainians celebrate Vyshyvanka Day, a holiday dedicated to our national clothing.
The Ukrainian WAKO kickboxing championship among students was held in Brovary, Kyiv region. The competition was attended by higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. As a result of the competition, the cadets won gold medals.
Representatives of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - leading experts and specialists Olena Shulhina, Lilia Zhyronkina, Daria Zozulia, Olena Hudkova, Tetiana Minaieva, Myroslava Voityshyna, Olena Yakovenko - took a refresher course on "Word and Excel: Tools and Lifehacks".
The curator of the student group, senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6, Viktoriia Rasskazova, held a conversation with students dedicated to the Day of Vyshyvanka. The students watched the movie "Vyshyvanka Day: History, Traditions and Interesting Facts about the Holiday".
Nadiia Serhiienko, a specialist of the International Cooperation Department, representative of the Equal Opportunities team of KhNUIA, took part in the training "Discrimination. Signs, Types, Causes and Mechanisms of Protection", which was made possible by the partnership of the International Organization for Freedom House in Ukraine, NGO "Kyiv Educational Center "Space of Tolerance".
On the eve of Vyshyvanka Day, which is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of May, curator and associate professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 Victoria Pertseva held an educational hour online. The cadets recalled the history of Ukrainian embroidery and shared the ancient traditions of embroidery in their regions.
As part of the work of the Legal Clinic branch in Vinnytsia, Oleksii Zaitsev, Head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty № 4, and Olha Kyrychenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty № 1, together with the cadets of the Faculty № 2, held a reception of citizens.
Dmytro Slynko, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Faculty No. 1, took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference held by the Faculty of History and Law of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.
