On the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, war veteran Dmytro Oliinyk met with students of the initial police training courses at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Nazarenko met with the students of the Community Police Officer course, who will soon complete their training and leave for further service in their communities.

FREEDEX cyber and information security specialist Oleksii Horai, together with representatives of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies of the Faculty No. 6, conducted a binary lesson on Digital Signal Processing for 2nd year students majoring in Cybersecurity.

Olha Medvedieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Municipal Resource Center for Support of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, conducted a training on combating domestic violence for IDPs as part of a project on integration and socialization of citizens who have been negatively affected by the war.

For 1st year students studying under the educational and professional program "Law Enforcement", Artem Lykhomanov, Senior Inspector of the Public Relations Department of the Patrol Police Department in Kharkiv Region, and Mykola Holub, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics of the Faculty № 6, conducted a binary lecture on the discipline "Police Activity".

Oksana Maliutina, Head of the Preparatory Department of the Faculty № 6, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, took an online professional development course "Teacher's Internship 2024" and received a certificate. The training was conducted by the IT Ukraine Association ERAM, whose program consisted of a theoretical block and a project assignment.

Cadets of the Faculty № 3 Yuliia Kuklych and Victoriia Holub, who are studying Psychology, are undergoing an internship at the Psychological Support Department of the Human Resources Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast.

The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko introduced the Dean of the Faculty № 2, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Police Captain Vasyl Kikinchuk to the university staff. Until recently, he held the position of Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty № 1.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the certification of applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty 081 "Law" (police), which was organized in the form of a comprehensive exam in the disciplines "Criminal Justice: Legal Doctrines and Principles of Lawmaking" and "Public Law: Practice of Interpretation and Application".
