A curatorial hour on the topic “Prevention of juvenile delinquency as one of the main areas in the fight against juvenile delinquency” was held for higher education students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA by Serhii Ivashyna, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Police Disciplines and Basic Combat Training.

For the second-year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the specialty “Law”, an online class on “Institutional factors of national economy development. Public Welfare and Social and Market Economy” was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Volodymyr Dementov.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Ksenia Yurtaieva together with Judge of Nemyriv District Court of Vinnytsia Region Tetiana Voinytska conducted a binary class in the discipline “Criminal Law” on the topic “Crimes against the foundations of national security of Ukraine”.

Within the framework of the discipline “Introduction to the specialty”, Valentyna Sadovska, a practical psychologist at Kharkiv Lyceum №122, conducted a binary lesson on “Organization and directions of work of a practical psychologist at school” for freshmen studying psychology.

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, and Kateryna Skrynnikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Educational and Research Institute #5, conducted a binary class with students in the discipline “Civil Law and Procedure” with the participation of Olha Sirenko, a retired judge of the Second Administrative Court of Appeal.

Representatives of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights took part in an online lecture organized by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the topic “Judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Ukraine v. Russia (concerning Crimea)”.

The Department of International Cooperation invites you to take online courses on the Coursera platform: “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence for Scientists Who Do Not Work with Data”; “Application of AI in Human Resources Management”; “Training and Practice of Public Speaking in English”.

Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities at Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, took the course “Practical Advice on Inclusion”. She gained knowledge on the following topics: “Sensory integration as a component of inclusive education”, ‘Assessment of students with special educational needs (SEN): features, approaches and practical tools’, etc.

The meeting was held within the framework of cooperation between the university and Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Self-Government Bodies. Valerii Sokurenko greeted the participants of the event, acquainted them with the activities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the tasks facing the university staff, and the prospects for the development of the higher education institution.

Daria Hlushkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI #5, together with Viktoriia Baklytska, Deputy Head of Kharkiv District Department #3 of the Probation Center branch, conducted a binary class on the discipline “Organization of the work of justice bodies.”
