
The event "Gender Equality in Jurisprudence", organized by Kyiv branch of the European Law Students Association (ELSA Kyiv), was joined by Yulia SAMOILOVA, Acting Head of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, and Natalia ZLENKO, Associate Professor of the same department.

A competition of professional skills dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Cadets from Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4 and Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition.

The Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of KhNUIA, Mykola MARCHUK, took part in a working meeting dedicated to the problems of people with disabilities, in particular among war veterans, and ways to solve them under martial law.

Cadets of the ERI No. 1 joined an online webinar on the topic "Peer review of scientific publications: from traditional models to open science", which took place as part of the International Peer Review Week. They learned about the evolution of peer review and its role in shaping academic integrity.

A new monographic study “Crime in Ukraine in the 20th Century (1917-1991): Status and Causes, Legal Challenges, Unlearned Lessons (Historical and Legal Research)” has been published (Kharkiv: Maidan, 2025. 520 p.) authored by the First vice-president of the National Academy of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel-General of the Police Oleksandr BANDURKA, Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Educator of Ukraine Volodymyr HRECHENKO, and Candidate of Law Serhii BANDURKA.

For the International Day of Peace, students of the ERI No. 5 visited the sponsored educational institution and, together with the children, held an art therapy class under the symbolic title "Happiness is Peace." The meeting turned out to be a real friendly communication, where there was a place for both creativity and sincere conversations.

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, together with the inspector of the special police battalion "Streletskyi" of the Main Police Department in Vinnytsia region, conducted a practical lesson for students of the ERI No. 2 using airsoft equipment and pyrotechnics.

The Student and Cadet Parliament, together with the psychologist of the personnel department of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, Hanna YAROVA, organized the training "Together for Life. How to support yourself and others" for 2nd year students.

Cybercrime in the banking sector is one of the most common crimes today, be vigilant and teach yourself and your loved ones to recognize fraudulent manipulations. The Center for Digital Literacy and Cyber Hygiene of #KhNUIA distributes infographics and organizes events aimed at increasing the level of digital awareness of citizens and forming a culture of safe behavior in the online space.

Associate professors of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Natalia HRESA, Yana PONOMARENKO and Alla SHYLINA successfully completed training within the framework of the webinar series “Child-centeredness in cases on the child's right to a family: practical aspects of implementation” (42 hours) and participated in two additional face-to-face training sessions in Kyiv.
