Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology held an online meeting with cadets of the ERI No. 1, dedicated to preparing for the upcoming session. The participants discussed the following issues: planning and time allocation: how to create an effective preparation schedule and avoid "rush hours" on the last day; learning methods: a review of effective note-taking techniques, repetition, etc.

Fresh-year students took part in ceremonial events on the occasion of the City Day of Kamianets-Podilskyi, which is celebrated on May 17. This event provided an opportunity to get to know the centuries-old history of one of the oldest Ukrainian cities, which plays an important role in the cultural life of the state.

The Ukrainian Championship in Universal Combat was held in the city of Khmelnytskyi, in which Artem LEVCHENKO, a 1st year cadet of the ERI No. 1 of KhNUIA, took part. Artem won 1st place in the weight category up to 95 kg, overcoming the obstacle course and defeating an opponent from Odessa. In the second fight, he defeated a resident of Khmelnytskyi.

The teaching staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, together with the volunteer organization "BanderoBdzhilkaYzhkoFei" took part in a meeting with a paramedic, a citizen of Austria, Mr. Ben.

At the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, first-year cadets held a table tennis competition on their day off. The event brought together many people who wanted to play and support their comrades. Such initiatives contribute to the formation of a close-knit team and the development of sports culture among young people.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, Candidate of Law Olena SOLOVIOVA, together with the judge of Saltivskyi District Court of Kharkiv Oleksandr OLIINYK, held a binary lesson on the discipline "Criminal Procedure".

Representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA - Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Olena LUKIANYKHINA and Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities Natalia ZLENKO joined the inter-university online discussion that brought together scientists.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, together with leading specialists of the Department of Military Training of Kamianets-Podilskyi National University named after I. Ohiienko, held a practical lesson on the topic "Classification and tactical and technical characteristics of the VNP".

On the initiative of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, together with the public organization "League of Modern Women", a training was held for students and cadets on the topic "Your Voice is Your Protection". Its goal is to raise participants' awareness of the unacceptability of violence as a model of behavior.
