
Over the past 31 years, KhNUIA has become one of the leading centers for training highly qualified specialists in the field of law, security and law enforcement. A generation of officers and lawyers is being formed here who know the price of responsibility and are ready to protect the state and its citizens.

To the 31st anniversary of the founding of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the 108th anniversary of the beginning of the training of law enforcement personnel in Kharkiv region, a "Board of Honor" has been posted on the official website of KhNUIA.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held celebrations on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of granting the institution the status of a university. The event was attended by Heads, lecturers, employees, cadets and representatives of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is a place where character is formed, responsibility is strengthened and a true calling is born. Cadets and students choose KhNUIA because they don't just teach here - they prepare to serve the people and the state.

Representatives of the cadet and student self-government of KhNUIA honored the memory of the victims of the Holodomor by laying flowers at the monument to the victims of the genocide of the Ukrainian nation. Cadets and students of the ERI No. 1–5, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College bowed their heads in a mournful moment of silence, honoring the millions of innocent victims.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented in the program by: Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Tetiana FOMINA, who participated in the development and implementation of the program and preparation of training modules, as well as Associate Professor of the same Department Valeriia HNATENKO.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs laid flowers at the memorial signs and honored the heroes with a minute of silence who died in Kyiv during the Revolution of Dignity and all those who fought for the freedom and independence of Ukraine at the cost of their own lives in different years.

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs responded to the urgent need for blood plasma for the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded servicemen. They joined the donation at the Biopharma Plasma Medical Center.

At the barrier-free driving school Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, practical classes for a new group of students have started. During the practical course, they will master the basics of safe driving and practical driving skills in various road situations.

As part of the events dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom, higher education students had the opportunity to meet a man whose creativity, civic position and military path have become an integral part of the modern history of Ukraine. Serhii PANTIUK – a writer and journalist, publisher and military man – visited the university.
