As a result of a missile attack on Sumy on 17 November 2024, the 3-year-old granddaughter of our colleague, senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy branch, Maryna Kolesnyk, was seriously injured. The girl is in critical condition in intensive care and needs our help and support.
Mykola Borovyk, Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2, took part in the practical and theoretical training on providing first aid in combat conditions for the military TCCC-ASM, organised by the training organisation ‘Ukrainian School of Rescue’.
Iryna Dovhan, lecturer of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of the ERI №4 of KhNUIA, together with Volodymyr Sokhatiuk, 1st year student of the ERI №4, held an online event for graduates of Starokostiantynivska Secondary School No. 1.
The second-year students of the ERI №3 continue to participate in volunteer activities. This time they joined the unloading of food and medicines at the military rehabilitation centre, where defenders of Ukraine are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
The students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the sports competitions held in Kyiv. The cadets won prizes in their weight categories.
In a safe room at one of Kharkiv's universities, the training was organised by Evheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory for Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3, together with a team of volunteers from the Palm of Peace Charitable Foundation.
This was the topic of a binary lesson in the discipline ‘Special Physical Training’ conducted for 3rd year cadets of the ERI #2 by Andrii Nadutyi, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training, Oleksandr Shepelev, lecturer of the same department, together with Vasyl Bak, inspector of the Response Sector of the Patrol Police in Zastavne, Chernivtsi Region.
The Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the cadets on their achievements in various sports competitions. Valerii Sokurenko noted that it is important for students to have a high level of training and good physical fitness in order to carry the high rank of police officer with dignity and perform their duties in good faith.
The 2nd year cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to support the families of servicemen who are defending our country from the Russian aggressor. This time, they helped the family of a defender to organise the yard and prepare firewood for the winter.
First-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are actively involved in volunteer initiatives. Students Ilia Tepliakov, Diana Kurako, Ihor Shulha, Albina Pavliuchenko, Anastasia Tovt, Alina Mishchenko and Olena Alekseichyk invest their time and energy to support our military.
