Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Captain Oleksandr Skliar together with the cadets of the TSP "SHIELD" of KhNUIA took part in the second stage of the game "Sokil" ("Dzhura") in Khmelnytskyi region.
The WAKO World Kickboxing Cup was held in Budapest (Hungary), in which a 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Roman Pshenychnyi took part. He competed as a member of the National Team of Ukraine. According to the results of the competition, Roman took second place in the 81 kg weight category.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has launched a course of specialization "Educational Security Service". 229 students - police officers from Khmelnytskyi and Poltava regions who will serve in educational institutions - have started classes.
The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov became a moderator and speaker at the scientific and practical round table "Protection of Human Rights in the Ukrainian Model of Transitional Justice".

Rector Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs who participated in the World Muay Thai Boxing Championships among adults held in Greece. They represented Ukraine as part of the National Team.

Olena Yushkevych, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, together with a supervisory group, held an educational hour, during which cadets took an online course developed by experts from the NATO Building Integrity Program.
Under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Rector, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Viktor Vasylenko, a training session on the basics of first psychological aid was held for certified university employees at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Viktor Vasylenko emphasized the importance of mastering the techniques of providing psychological assistance and overcoming stress for police officers to use in various situations of service and everyday life.
