A table tennis tournament among cadets of first-third courses was held at Educational and Research Institute No. 1, which was held with the aim of popularizing sports among young people and developing the physical and moral-willing qualities of future officers of the National Police.

A solemn event dedicated to Student Day was held in Kharkiv, which brought together more than 400 active students from 23 universities. The Student Council of Educational and Research Institute No. 5 joined the intellectual battle on the Kahoot platform, where they showed a high level of erudition, speed of thinking and real team spirit.

On the eve of Student Day, the cadet and student parliament of KhNUIA organized intellectual and patriotic competitions among the teams of the ERI No. 1-5. The event was opened by Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, who welcomed the participants and emphasized that the youth of KhNUIA should think quickly, creatively and be able to work in a team.

On November 17-18, elections will be held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the positions of chairmen of the councils of cadet and student self-government of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 and the Sumy branch of KhNUIA.

On the initiative of the cadet council of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, together with the employees of the Department of CFVE of Khmelnytskyi SRFC of the MIA, who are members of the Dobromobil Charity Foundation, second-year students once again joined volunteer activities.

The first stage of the International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literature Competition has begun at KhNUIA - a space where young people have the opportunity to rethink the Kobzar's heritage and see it in a modern context. The event was organized by the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies.

A scientific and practical conference "Administrative, legal, sociological and psychological support for the activities of the National Police of Ukraine" was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event brought together representatives of the MIA, NPU, the Supreme Court, scientists and international partners.

Representatives of the Department of Recruiting and Organization of Career Guidance of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to familiarize young people with the features and advantages of admission to the institution.

In April 2022, Vasyl SHAFRANSKYI volunteered to serve in territorial defense units, later in a military unit. He took part in combat actions in the Donetsk direction. While performing a mission near Bakhmut, he was seriously wounded and lost his lower limb.

For cadets of the tactical and special unit "SHIELD", a field-based practical lesson was held on conducting fire contact by small tactical groups of the police in urban areas. The participants worked out the tactics of actions of small groups, algorithms for fighting in conditions of intense fire contact.
