On the eve of St. Nicholas Day and on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA handed over 390 gifts from the university trade union organisation for the pupils of the educational and rehabilitation centre, the Development Centre for children with special needs and preschools of Podillia.
Denys Matviievskyi, a student of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, is actively involved in volunteering. At first, he helped at an animal shelter and participated in the sorting of humanitarian aid. Later, he initiated fundraising for the purchase of military equipment, and is constantly involved in the dismantling of rubble during the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling.
On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, Yevheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of ERI №3 of KhNUIA, who has been a volunteer of the Foundation for the second year in a row, was awarded with the Gratitude from the Director of the Charitable Foundation ‘Palms of Peace’ Dmytro Horiachkivskyi.
Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement of the Educational and Research Institute №5 Vladyslav Doroshenko told the final year pupils of Novopilska UTC of Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipro region about the rules and requirements for admission to KhNUIA, peculiarities and advantages of education at the Educational and Research Institute №5.
The management of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA organised a regular meeting on the preparation for the Unified State Comprehensive Examination (USCE). The director of the institute Oksana Brusakova told the students that the university has created all the conditions for successful passing of the USCE.

During the online meeting dedicated to the World Action ‘16 Days Against Violence’, the curator, associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 Ksenia Yurtaieva together with the cadets reviewed international and national regulatory documents governing the issues of combating domestic violence.
The enrolment of students to the preparatory department of the ERI №5 of KhNUIA who wish to receive high-quality training for NMT is underway. Classes will begin on 14 December 2024. For 5 months, students will prepare for admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine, primarily Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Yevhen Novikov, a cadet of the ERI №4 of KhNUIA, who is a member of the scientific club of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, made a presentation on ‘Kemalist Educational Reforms in Turkey’ at the V International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘The Phenomenon of Post-Globalisation Culture: Post-War Worlds and Cultural Democracy’.
Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Deputy Head of Course Mariana Sidletska and 2nd year cadet Vladyslav Kochyn held an online meeting with future graduates of the State Lyceum with Enhanced Military and Physical Training ‘Slobozhanskyi’.
