At the invitation of the Educational and Methodological Center for Vocational and Technical Education in Sumy region, associate professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, candidate of philological sciences Natalia KOBYLKO acted as a speaker at a seminar-workshop for teachers.

Representatives of the student council of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, together with psychologist Hanna YAROVA and course officer Olena PODOINYK, visited a local animal shelter dedicated to World Animal Protection Day. The purpose of the event is to support four-legged pets and give them a piece of warmth and attention.

Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines Serhii RUDENKO held another meeting of the scientific circle. Several meaningful reports prepared by cadets - participants of the "Financial Patrol" team were presented during the event.

Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5 Olena SYNIAVSKA together with the Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Department of the Main Inspection and Human Rights Compliance of the National Police Yevhenii YEVTIEIEV conducted a binary practical lesson on the topic "Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. National Police"

Senior lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Oleksandr SKLIAR, together with cadets of the ERI No. 3, held career orientation talks with the youth of Luka-Meleshkivska community of Vinnytsia region during the 2025 charity motorcycle season, which was held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

An online meeting was held at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 114, organized by representatives of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of KhNUIA. Its goal is to familiarize students with the profession of a police officer, university specialties, and modern challenges in the field of cybersecurity.

Cadets of the ERI No. 3 of KhNUIA are actively involved in weaving camouflage nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They understand that even a small contribution can save lives and help defenders remain unnoticed on the front lines.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Volodymyr YEVTUSHOK, together with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted a binary practical lesson on the topic "Tactics of work of small groups during the performance of service and combat tasks" for students of the ERI No. 4.

Professors of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA – Doctor of Law, Professor Olena SYNIAVSKA and Doctor of Law, Professor Volodymyr MARCHENKO – completed an online internship “Editorial Board in Action: How to Organize the Work of the Journal Editorial Board in Accordance with the New Requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science”.

On October 5, 2025, Serhii Viktorovych Lukianenko, a senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, passed away. He devoted most of his life to service in the Internal Affairs Department, working his way up from an inspector of the public security department to the head of the city police department and becoming a mentor to many law enforcement officers.
