
The Council of Europe has announced the opening of applications for the online course on Human Rights Education for Youth (HEY) on the topic "Environment and Human Rights", which will take place from 3 to 30 November 2025.

Second-year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 of KhNUIA, together with teachers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, took part in the military-tactical training “Border: Gray Zone”. The event was organized by the 14th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna”.

The open Ukrainian WAKO kickboxing championship among children's and youth sports schools and sports clubs was held in the city of Ternopil. The event brought together more than 800 participants from different regions of Ukraine. The university was worthily represented by cadets who demonstrated a high level of training and collected a full set of awards.

A meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) on the reform of the civil security sector of Ukraine was held at the university. The delegation included expert José QUINTELA CARDOSO, trainer Ana Isabel CARNEIRO GONCALVES, and education and training expert Vasyl KORNIIENKO.

Scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Viktor YASKO and Mykhailo BAMBULIAK, together with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted a lesson on the topic "Classification and tactical and technical characteristics of explosive objects" for the cadets of the ERI No. 4.

Vinnytsia region kettlebell championship was held in Vinnytsia, in which Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs team took part. According to the results of the competition, KhNUIA team took 2nd place among the national teams, confirming the high level of physical training and sportsmanship of the cadets.

Cadets of the ERI No. 4 visited the festival-tournament "Buhurt Sich", which took place in Khmelnytskyi. The event, dedicated to the Day of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, brought together participants and spectators who are interested in the history of the Ukrainian army and the development of modern defense traditions.

A training for law enforcement officers on occupational safety and the impact on access to HIV-related services for people who use drugs was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by the UNODC.

A binary lesson in the discipline "Special Physical Training" on the topic "Situations when applying police coercive measures" was held for cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs practically teach young people from Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions about financial literacy.
