Lecturers of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Head of the Department Olena Stativka, Professor of the same Department Oleh Honcharuk, Associate Professors Valentyna Kochyna and Valentyna Pochuieva, Senior Lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova - took part in the online conference ‘Academic English Conference 2024’.
The students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of KhNUIA together with the inspectors of the domestic violence sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region distributed leaflets to passers-by with advice on how to stop violence in the family and in society and where to go to get rid of its manifestations.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA's acquisition of university status, Vitalina Harbuz, a 2nd year student of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, received a diploma from the Executive Committee of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council for significant academic achievements, responsibility and dedication to the people of Ukraine.
The next online consultation meeting on this topic for representatives of local councils and residents of territorial communities of Vinnytsia region was held within the framework of cooperation between Vinnytsia branch of KhNUIA Legal Clinic and Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Self-Government Bodies.
Curator, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Nataliia Shyshka together with the students of the ERI No. 1 discussed the main aspects of the problem of violence, its types, causes and consequences online. She noted that the action aims to raise awareness of all forms of violence, to continue the process of creating a non-discriminatory space for life, etc.
Olha Kyrychenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the ERI №3, told the students of Merefianskyi Lyceum ‘Perspective’ of Merefianska City Council of Kharkiv Region about the peculiarities of admission and the benefits of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2025 under the state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.
District police officer of Sumy Regional Police Department of the National Police in Sumy region Tetiana Veremiienko together with Maria Novyk, a lecturer at the Department of Special Police Disciplines and Basic Combat Training of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, conducted classes for 2nd year students majoring in Law Enforcement.
The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Olena Shakhova. It was attended by lecturers and applicants for higher education of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of KhNUIA, the UNESCO Department of Philosophy of Human Communication and Social Sciences and Humanities of the State Biotechnological University.
This was the topic of a roundtable discussion, which was joined by Oleksii Salmanov, Deputy Director for Education and Research Activity at the ERI No. 1. The event was organised by the Red Cross Society of Ukraine in Kamianets-Podilskyi with the participation of representatives of local authorities, the medical community, higher education institutions and the community.
KhNUIA continues the practice of conducting binary classes for students of the Police Academy Primary Professional Training Centre. This time, together with the teacher of the cycle of general professional training Heorhii Smyrnov, the lesson was conducted by Kostiantyn Andronov, Chief Forensic Expert of the Firearms Research Sector of the KhFIEC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
