The curators, lecturers of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Olena Horash and Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science Ihor Zozulia, held a conversation with the cadets of the ERI No. 1, during which they discussed the basics of moral and ethical values and the development of critical thinking.

Representatives of the student and cadet self-government of Sumy branch were awarded Diplomas of the Mayor and People's Deputy of Ukraine Mykhailo Ananchenko for their active civic and life position, charitable and volunteer activities for a significant contribution to the development of youth policy of Sumy city territorial community.

Lecturer of the Department, Associate Professor Oleksandr Moshenskyi and Senior Lecturer Mykhailo Ovchynnykov visited lyceums with enhanced military and physical training ‘Pravookhoronets’ and ‘Slobozhanskyi’ in Kharkiv. They told the lyceum students about the conditions of admission to the university, educational and research institutes and specialities in which specialists are trained.

Graduating students, their parents, teachers and friends learnt more about the higher education institution and talked to its representatives. They watched with interest a presentation film about Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary as a university.

At the invitation of the Higher School of Occupational Safety and Health Management in Katowice and with the assistance of the International Cooperation Department, representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an online lecture on logistics.

A binary lesson in the discipline ‘Tactical and Special Training’ for higher education students of the ERI No. 3 was conducted by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 together with combat training instructors of the Operational Purpose Brigade No. 14 ‘Chervona Kalyna’ and the Head of the KORD Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region Valerii Bondar.

The next optional lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA on writing literary works was conducted by Vitalii Naida, Head of the School, Researcher of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3, and 2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 3.

The topic ‘General principles of inheritance. Disputes over inheritance’ was discussed with the students of the ERI №5 by Professor Tetiana Kyrychenko, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, together with lawyer Serhii Lalenkov. They analysed the issues of protecting the rights of heirs.

Olena Lukianykhina, Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with cadets studying law enforcement, took a course on mine safety on the Diia.Digital Education platform.

Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Department for Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), and Daniil Zinchenko, Associate Professor of the same department, took part in the V International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Actual Problems of Psychological Support of Service Activities of Law Enforcement Officers’.
